The world of coaching opened for me after a difficult season where I found myself doing life alone.
I was a new “empty nester”. A career transition was inevitable and scary. And becoming single unexpectedly was not one of my life goals.
As I went through the training and certification process to become a Life Purpose Coach, I realized that I had been informally “coaching” most of my life. My strength of connecting, my gift of discernment and my passion for listening and encouraging made coaching a natural fit for me.
Since that time some years back, women who are in the same circumstance of finding themselves alone in life have become my niche. And my passion is being able to help women who are doing life alone, to live confidently.
For me, coaching is a calling. It is a way to give back for the help, support, and encouragement I received during a season of uncertainty and change. And it was through the help of a life coach that I received that kind of help.
I get it. Finding purpose and meaning when life is not what “normal” should be, is just part of living confidently. Relearning who I really was, knowing what security is, and being able to embrace a new “normal” were life lessons I bring with my coaching skills.
Life is good these days! I would love for you to be able to say the same with confidence.

P.S. On a personal note, I live in the Minnesota River Valley southwest of the Twin Cities. I’m in my “happy place” when I am gardening, writing, or spending time with my grown kids and 3 adorable grandkids. My faith in God grounds me and my life experience as a physical therapist gives me insight into being able to understand relationships. I also have a BS in Christian Ministries which adds depth and to my life coaching certificate.
